Water Texture

Knowingly excited about learning 3ds Max, I decided to explore and
search for tutorials on how to create a simple water texture.
Opening the material editor and selecting
and editing options to create the texture.

Rendered the model to test the options of the texture.

Did some personal editing towards the options
to make the water texture more visible.
Final test rendering.
Final rendering image of the water texture.
Ignore the abstract background. It's just so that the model
does not look so empty.

Lesson One : Introduction

In this exercise, we were taught about the basics of
3ds Max Design and how to create and
edit objects while creating a simple building.

Started with a simple rectangular box and
proceeded to creating columns using cylinder.

Using the clone tool, copies of columns are created
without the fuss of making each from scratch.

Cloning the base as it is the same as the roof.

This building is a shrine that presents the object
floating on the altar which was created using the
torus tool and adding twists and segments.

Practicing using the spline tool to create 2d objects
and later extruding them.

Created a simple background with boxes rotated
randomly so the model won't look so empty.

Final rendering that concluded the first lesson
for Computer Applications.
